Climate Zone: IECC Climate Zone 6A (cold-humid). Rochester's -13°F heating design is somewhat milder than the Twin Cities' -16°F due to its more southerly position in Minnesota, but still demands cold-climate heating system specification.

Energy Code & Manual J Requirement: Minnesota Energy Code (IECC 2012 basis). ACCA Manual J required for Olmsted County HVAC permits.
